Rules

Library Rules and Regulations:

Students should make their Library Cards within 60 days from the commencement of regular classes.

Books will be issued to students on production of College library cards and identity cards.

Borrowing: From 2023-24 session, students in General Courses are allowed to borrow one (1) book for home issue and Honours students are permitted to borrow two (2) books for Home Issue. This is due to shortage and non-availability of CCF syllabus oriented book. But on the basis of student's need they may be allowed to borrow extra books.

Retention: No book is to be retained beyond 10 days. It can be reissued for another 10 days if possible.

Fine: A fine of 50p. is to be paid for each day in return.

Loss of Library Book: If book is found damaged or lost, the replacement should be provided by the student. Cases of mutilation, if any, should immediately be brought to the notice of the librarian otherwise the last borrower will be responsible for the book.

Loss of Library Card: If any case Library card is lost, it should be immediately to the Librarian. Duplicate card may be issued against formal application.

Membership:

Teaching & Non-Teaching staff will automatically become library members. Students will become a member after showing their admission receipt with one stamp size photo and will eligible for reading, lending books and surfing internet against their card.

Books will be issued to students on production of College library cards and identity cards.

Without proper library card students will not be allowed in the library.
